Adriana graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in psychology. Adriana then entered the Luskin School of Public Affairs at UCLA where she obtained her Masters degree in Social Work.

Adriana received extensive training providing counseling services to survivors of trauma and domestic violence in her work at Peace Over Violence. During this time, she provided individual therapy, in-person crisis intervention, and served as a volunteer trainer for incoming Peace Over Violence volunteers.

She furthered her scope of practice at Prototypes outpatient mental health, were she provided therapeutic services to individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and relationship struggles.

Adriana served as Lead Therapist at The Bella Vita eating disorder treatment facility until early 2019. Adriana conducted individual and family sessions, facilitated group therapy, lead multifamily group sessions, and worked intensively one-on-one with clients to ensure they have a strong plan of recovery before leaving treatment. She continues to treat eating disorders at Kaiser Permanente and has maintained a private practice since 2014. Adriana has also been specializing and treating OCD and anxiety disorders since 2017.
